2009 Well here we are heading into Fall already.
My favorite time of year.
The colours; the critters; and of course, it's moose season.
I had a great Spring and Summer shooting and I expect this Fall to be just as rewarding. (83 images) |
NEW 2010 Well, it looks like I'm off to a great start to 2010 with a beautiful frosty morning out in the Whiteshell. (12 images) |
2008 Well, we're into the second half of the year and it's been a busy one.
Another successful trip across Northern Ontario with many new shots.
Is there anywhere more beautiful?
I also ventured to the far north to visit Pisew Falls; Manitoba's highest. (48 images) |
2007 I visited quite a few new places as well as a couple of old favorites which has given me a nice variety of images.
I have definitely fallen in love with my Fuji S3 Pro.
The detail is incredible.
For overall quality, I give it a nine. (62 images) |
2006 The Fall was spent up in my favorite spot; Riding Mountain National Park.
Ahhh, the colours, the mist, the 'critters, (especially the moose)
The close encounter with the curious coyote pup, or the fleeting moments spent with the two fawns; very special. (50 images) |
Landscapes I love nature photography. There are times when I pull up to a new location that is obviously going to produce a breath-taking photograph, that I actually have to calm myself down from the instant 'high' that I get, just to be able to take the photograph (34 images) |
Animals I Love 'The Hunt'; only with the camera of course!
One of the best parts of being a nature photographer is getting to observe one's subjects.
Even if I come away with no photos, I am happy to have seen the animal in its own environment. (27 images) |
Birds I guess I've always had a fondness for birds. I raised pigeons as a kid. This love of birds just naturally went together with my love of photography. It doesn't matter if they're small and common or large and majestic, I appreciate them all. (24 images) |
Other Stuff Basically I'll photograph just about anything that moves or breathes (or not), as you can tell from this gallery. (25 images) |
Flowers A few examples of Nature's most delicate beauty. (7 images) |
Moose Quite possibly my favorite animal and subject to photograph. I have had many close encounters and am very lucky to remain unscathed. Duelling bulls, or a cow with a new-born calf, both are very hazardous situations. (16 images) |
